The founder, a dedicated artisan, began her journey in the peaceful environment near Ptuj, where she cultivated plants like lavender and rosemary to create salves and soaps for herself and her loved ones. This heartfelt hobby eventually blossomed into the Jelia brand, a name chosen for its meaning in some sources: “beautiful jewel” or “shine”—a perfect symbol for products that possess a true, inner beauty without glitter.

✅ At Jelia, every bar of soap is a result of meticulous craftsmanship. The soaps are made using the traditional cold process method, which blends cold-pressed vegetable oils like extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, unrefined sunflower oil, and shea butter at low temperatures. This gentle process preserves the natural glycerin, which is crucial for moisturizing and softening the skin. The soaps are scented with pure bio essential oils of lavender and rosemary and colored with natural Mica pigments, ensuring a product that is kind to both your skin and the environment.

✅ Jelia’s commitment to quality extends to every detail. After being hand-cut, each soap is cured for at least 4 to 6 weeks to achieve the perfect hardness, gentleness, and effectiveness. A special focus is placed on the Rosemary Soap, which revitalizes the skin, and the Lavender Soap, known for its calming and nourishing properties. Both are packaged in charming, square kraft boxes, highlighting the brand’s dedication to sustainability and an eco-friendly approach.
